Fire and Gasoline
Often, my lady and I are referred to as Fire and Gasoline
One of us always is aflame-
passionate
intense
over-the-top.
the other always feeds the fire, pouring expellant
reacting
exploding
feeding-the-flame.
this is what we signed up for
drafted into a war we fight together often mistaking ourselves the enemy.
Yet we burn with laughter more
ablaze with passion more
love more.
