The A Team

To produce a commercially viable record, I’ve enlisted the best combination of people I know to help me with the album. Here is a brief overview of the people I trust most with my music:

The Producer: Rocky Searan is the most influential keyboardist in Arizona, possibly on the West Coast. He has worked with Matt Maher, Bluetree, and the Robbie Seay Band, as well as countless others. At every turn, Rocky has proved himself over and over again more than compatible to take the helm the record.  Most importantly, Rocky has the ability to deliver the combo sound of rock and country required for the album.

The engineer: Ralph Patlan is Phoenix’s most sought after recording engineer. Known best for his work for Brian Welsh’s, “Head” of the band Korn, solo albums. His work has a reach of the likes of the Grammy nominated actor Jamie Foxx to the progressive band Ohm; Ralph consistently delivers the absolute best in nationally competitive recording.

The Drummer: Dan Tomlinson has played and toured with Lyle Lovett, Acoustic Alchemy, and countless others. Dan is one of the MOST respected drummers in Phoenix and he is the backbone of the record.

The Bassist: Eric Borgen is the epitome of pocket bass player. For years, this Warner Bros. Nashville Recording artist played for Signal Goodbye and Michelangelo and the Difference. Eric is the PERFECT antithesis for Robert’s lead guitar style playing, both complimenting each other harking back to classic guitar/bass playing duos such as Townsend/Entwistle or Clapton/Bruce.

The Second Guitarist: Danny Ortega’s guitar style is unmistakably one of the most unique and harmonic of his generation. Known best for his big, warm, shimmer style of playing, this Warner Bros. Nashville recording artist ensures the most amazing guitar sonority will exist on the record.

The Lyric Adviser: Dr. Maxie Burch, Director of Graduate Ministry at John Brown University, as been enlisted to ensure the Theological soundness of every word on the album. It is of the utmost importance that the lyrical metaphors reflect the scriptures accurately and that the Lord, God’s message is expressed to the fullest clarity.
